Book the Guâ stopover gîte
Where will I sleep tonight?
The gîte offers 4 bedrooms with single beds, which can accommodate up to 15 guests.
- 1 bedroom with 2 beds and washbasin
- 1 room with 3 beds
- 1 room with 4 beds
- 1 bedroom for 6 people, with 3 bunk beds
- Two shared bathrooms are available. They include 4 showers, 5 washbasins and 3 toilets
As the environment is vital to the gîte, please note that the walls of your rooms are covered with organic paint, with no risk of emanation, and that the electricity is low consumption with LED bulbs.
Important information for your comfort
We advise you to bring a sleeping bag (not a meat bag, except in July and August).
As part of bedbug prevention measures, luggage transported by private car or service company, as well as backpacks, are kept in a special room, not in the bedrooms. Suitable boxes are available to carry all your belongings to your room.

2 options
- A large washbasin on the terrace lets you do your laundry outside if you feel like it. The linen can then be hung out to dry in the garden, in the sun.
- A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available.
I lost a sock!
What’s lost on the track comes back on the track.
That’s why I keep a stock of socks, towels and T-shirts ready to replace those you might have lost on a previous stopover.
Take a break with a good book
The lounge-terrace and shaded garden terraces are at your disposal.
Free access to numerous publications on the Chemin de Compostelle and to my personal library.

Over 50 books you can take with you and leave elsewhere once you’ve read them.
Hosting a group at the Gîte du Guâ in Figeac
We are 15 hikers, can we come?
The house has 15 beds, so I can welcome individuals or groups of pilgrims.
You can book the entire guest house for private events, depending on the time of year, whether you are :
- Hikers
- Cyclists
- A group of friends or relatives (family reunions, birthdays, holidays, etc.).
- A vacation based on activities: caving (Cabrerets, Underground rivers of the Lot), canyoning, climbing…
Important information
As part of the prevention of bedbugs, luggage transported by private car or service company, and backpacks remain in a dedicated room, nothing in the bedrooms. Suitable boxes are available to carry all your belongings to your room.
For “off-the-back” luggage, please make sure you have a single piece of luggage per person, no larger than a cabin-size suitcase and weighing no more than 10kg. Suitable boxes are available to carry all your belongings to your room.
