I chose to be part of the association « les Haltes Vers Compostelle” / “Compostela Trail Stopovers”
Created in 2003, the association is a group wishing to offer accommodation to guests with the Pilgrims Trail spirit : a path which can be perceived as an opportunity for transformation, release, surpassing oneself, freedom, joy, gratefulness, encounters, fraternity, solidarity, spirituality…
Some hostels owners therefore joined forces in order to preserve the meaning and the value of the Pilgrims Trail, and to offer accomidation to pilgrims.
The friendly gîtes
There are also friends who own gites on the trail : here is the list of Friends’ Gites. They are just Pilgrims’ Trail hostel owners who know and appreciate each others. This list has been put together in a bid to help you in your booking process.
